A common mistake you should avoid is having multiple SPF DNS records, which is not allowed.
Having more than one SPF record will cause deliverability issues and in general, will negatively impact your domain reputation.
A domain name can only have one SPF record.
To authorize Automizy to use your domain name, you should add the new rule to your existing SPF record instead of creating a new record.
Merging SPF records
For example, you have this SPF record:
v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all
This is a typical SPF record for Outlook uses, it allows Outlook to send email using your domain name. All other senders are rejected using the -all rule.
When setting up your Automizy SPF setting, Automizy automatically merges your existing SPF with the new Automizy SPF record. Here is an example:
v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.automizy.com -all
The generated SPF record in Automizy automatically included the previous Outlook and added the new one to allow Automizy to send emails on behalf of your domain.
What you should do next is: DO NOT create a new DNS record in your domain, look for the existing one, and update it.
When authorizing Automizy to send emails for your domain you should add it to your existing SPF record instead of adding an additional SPF record.
